Free to use, and free to leave

Everything your roleplay characters need, in one place.

Their pictures, their voice, and all the small details that make them theirs. Send the lot as one link, instead of writing it all out again for every new partner.

No waiting list and no password. Enter your email and a link arrives. New here? Asking for it makes your account, and the link signs you in. 1 GB free for pictures and files, no cap on how many characters you keep, and it works on a phone. Take a copy whenever you like. Accounts are for people aged 18 or over.

Mira Vance

Carries parcels over the rooftops for people who cannot use the roads. Nine years, and one rule: she never looks inside. Last winter she looked, and she has been paying for it ever since.

Voice
Short sentences. She answers what you asked, never what you meant. When she goes quiet, she is choosing not to lie to you.
What they want
The name of whoever paid for the job that went wrong. She has not decided what she will do with it, and that is the part that scares her.
What they will not do
Open a parcel again. Take a job that names another courier. Cross to the east bank for any money you have.

Who they know

Jonas Reed younger brother, thinks she works the river boats

Salt a fence, owes her a favour she is saving for something bad

Reference images, in the order you chose: portrait, full figure, the coat, rooftops, the parcel, her mother's ring.

A shared character page, which is what the person you send a link to sees. No account needed, and you can turn it off.

3 things, and each one gathers the last

Pictures gather into characters, characters gather into scenarios, and any of them can be handed over as one link. You enter every detail once and reuse it everywhere it's needed.

Pictures

Find any picture in seconds, however many you have.

  • Add a whole folder at once, tagged on the way in, instead of one at a time.
  • Filter as you type. 2 tags narrow rather than widen, so the more you know the fewer you see.
  • Retag hundreds of pictures in one go. A filter selects everything it finds, not just what is on screen.
  • The same file twice is caught before it is sent, so your storage is not quietly spent on copies.

Characters

A character, and everything that belongs with them.

  • A name, a description, and notes that stay off the share page.
  • Fields aimed at whoever writes with you: how they sound, what they want, and what they will not do.
  • Say who they know, and how. Sister, rival, owes her money.
  • Already have a character sheet? Paste it in and the fields fill themselves. Moving one in takes a minute.
  • Add pictures by tag, so a character is populated in one action instead of one at a time.
  • Promote any picture to the cover, whether it was the 2nd you added or the 200th.
  • Share it with a link. Whoever you send it to does not need an account. They see that page, and any character you have linked to it.

Scenarios

Build a scene once, with the cast attached.

  • Write the setup once and reuse it, instead of retyping it for every new partner.
  • Link characters, each with the part they play.
  • Every linked character keeps their own page, so one link opens the whole cast.
  • Turn a link off and the page stops serving, without the record being destroyed.

What it will never do

A shorter list, and every line on it is a decision.

No feed, no comments

There are no forums, no messages and no followers. You can write one page about yourself to find someone to write with, and nobody can reply to it here. Nothing to be harassed on, because there is nothing here to post at anybody.

No logging who you are

Your IP address is never stored here. The account and the forms that send email keep a one-way hash of it for 2 days at most. Cloudflare keeps its own request logs, and the Privacy policy says so.

No cap on characters

There is no cap on how many characters and scenarios you keep: the allowance meters picture and file room, not how many characters you make. What you have made stays readable, editable, shareable and exportable. An account unused for 9 months is emailed first, then closed.

Leave whenever you like

Delete your account yourself, now. The files go and so do the rows. Only 2 things stay, as the Privacy policy explains: the record of anything the operator did to the account, and any message you sent through the contact form. No ticket and no queue, unless the account is suspended, and a copy to download first if you want one.

Shared on purpose, private the rest of the time

A link when you want one, nothing public until you say so, and the switch stays with you.

One link, and you keep the switch

A character or scenario can be given a share link that works without an account, so whoever you're writing with sees the pictures and the detail without being handed everything you have. You're told how often it's been opened, which is how you spot a link that's been passed around, and turning it off stops the page without destroying anything.

It works wherever you write

A Discord server, a group chat, an email: if it takes a link, it takes this. Paste one into Discord and it opens out with the name, the summary and the cover picture, with nothing to install. Share links are for people you choose, so the rules ask you not to post one anywhere public where it could be crawled.

Private by default. Yours to keep.

Nothing's public unless you make it so, and every account is separated from every other. Pornography isn't permitted, meaning anything made mainly to cause sexual arousal. Adult characters, relationships, violence and dark subject matter are all fine. Uploads may be reviewed at any time, and the Acceptable Use policy sets out where the line is.

Start with one character

Paste in the text of a character sheet you already wrote and it fills the fields for you. A minute later you have a link you can hand to whoever you write with.
